We – Georgie and Helena, two purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs – lived with our host Nicki in a detached house with a garden in the Mostviertel region on the border with Upper Austria. The river Enns is close to our house, so it was nice to go for a walk and there was always something new to discover.
Nicki had always wanted a dog, she said, preferably a Bernese, but she didn’t know why because she didn’t know any. So I (Georgie) moved into her house in August 2013 and because I was sooo indescribably great, Helena came along in December. Together we made sure that she knew why it had to be a Bernese Mountain Dog!
We always knew that Nicki was a bit crazy, but it was really funny with her. We loved playing with Nicki, sometimes she even lay down on the floor with us. We were still allowed to be real dogs, let off steam and get muddy from top to bottom. When we had played and run around a lot, we were tired and wanted to cuddle and sleep a lot!
The best thing was that we always went on holiday together. Whether it was summer or winter. We really saw a lot, went hiking a lot and even went to the seaside. Simply fantastic! When we realised that Nicki was packing her bags, we were so excited and could hardly wait to get going.
Nicki met this guy in autumn 2017. He really wasn’t zwida and we took him – Nicki calls him Clemens, by the way – into our little family very quickly and with great pleasure. He’s not quite as crazy as Nicki, but we kept him and showed him around and took him on holiday with us.
As crazy as Nicki is, she is loving and forward-thinking. To ensure that I and my great love Leni were always well, she studied nutrition, animal energetics, animal massage and animal communication intensively and successfully completed the associated training courses with excellent results and a diploma. Congratulations 😘
Georgie you were, are and will always be my soul dog and I will carry you in my heart forever and ever!
Your Nicki
And then this also “happens”
As much as i loved Leni, Nicki & Clemens love each other just as much. And as nature would have it, a new 2-legged family member joined the family in March 2020. As we were well behaved, we were of course very well-behaved and were very careful with the baby – our employees call her Viola – and cuddled her from the very beginning.
Why am I writing in the past tense?
Unfortunately, the Rainbow Bridge called me to the other side in December 2021 and for Nicki, but also for Clemens, it was really very difficult and bad.
At the turn of the year 2021/2022, however, I, Georgie, conjured up a “little” fluff in my family’s head from above: I’m no more and now you have the time and with my lady of the heart Helena at your side, you have the perfect helper at hand: take care of my pedigree buddies!
Nails with heads
Over the course of the first few weeks in 2022, this set fluff then became more and more. Well, I’ve already mentioned that Nicki is a bit crazy and Clemens fits in really well, so I’m now presenting the result to you on this website.
Helena, ah Lenchen, my Leni
You supported Nicki and Clemens so well. You taught the little rascals so much and showed them their limits at the right time. You guided them and, of course, Nicki and Clemens along the right path. You simply did an indescribably great job. Now I have you by my side again. You made your way to me over the Rainbow Bridge at the beginning of March 2023.
